We were excited to have a visit from another Cornell University Specialist yesterday! Judson Reid is the Vegetable Specialist with the Cornell Vegetable Program and Team Leader for Harvest NY. He oversees research and outreach programs on vegetable production, local foods, urban agriculture, and more. These include projects to analyze biological pest control, grafting, cover crops, and nutrient management in greenhouse vegetables. We met Judd at Cornell’s Hemp Field Day we attended the past couple of years along with Daniela Vergara and they are such wonderful resources! Judd was also a presenter several times during the OCM Cannabis Compliance and Mentorship Training program that we were a part of last year. Judd gave us some great tips and insight on our indoor farming operation and we are very thankful he took the time to visit!
