There was definitely some heat in the room as we heard different perspectives from those that are already licensed, those on hold due to injunctions, and even an RO trying to justify their early entrance.
Thank you to legend Andrew DeAngelo for your insight and inspiration! Key takeaways were- keep raising hell (fighting for what’s right), stick together, leverage your community, control what you can (mind, body, community), create a high tide to lift ALL the boats, and to remember, “every crisis contains an opportunity.”
There were 6 panels total hearing from cultivators, processors, retailers, politicians (including our mayor from Jamestown Mayor Eddie Sundquist !), attorneys (including our lawyer Thomas Spanos!), and the medical patient perspective by Nikki and the Plant. We appreciate everyone bringing the whole truth to the table (minus the RO) and the opportunity to network and make our community stronger.
